1999 Master Baseball Season
This 900 card set includes two of the great teams of the late 1990s and early 2000s. The New York Yankees swept their second consecutive World Series extending the Yankees consecutive World Series games won to 12. The streak would eventually end at 14 but the Yankees would still win their third consecutive World Series.

The other team is the Atlanta Braves. This was the Braves' third World Series appearance in five seasons and fifth in seven seasons. The Braves led the majors with 103 games. Arizona in its second season won 100 games to win its division. Each of the four NL playoff teams won at least 97 games.

How good a manager are you? Can you lead the Braves to the title? Can you manage Boston to the AL crown? Or do you want to manage the Yankees? The Yankees are a great team. The emphasis is on team and not a team of superstars. Can you handle the pressure of New York to manage the Yankees to successfully defend their World Series crown? Can you lead a second year expansion team to 100 wins.
